Hi there 👋 I'm Calvin!

Born and raised in Orange County, CA, I gradually made my way up the coast to the San Francisco Bay Area. I studied mechanical engineering (mechatronics) at Cal Poly SLO—largely inspired by Iron Man / Tony Stark. But after graduation, I jumped straight into software and haven't looked back since.

I've been heads down working on my startup for the past year and a half. Now that I've got a bit more breathing room, I'm getting back into the hobbies I used to love—and picking up some new ones, too. Earned my blue belt in jiu jitsu before separating a rib (womp womp), so while that heals, i'm training for a triathlon and getting back into golf... still terrible, but having fun with it.

I love trying new things, whether it's in tech or in life. These days, I call the bay area home, where I live with my amazing wife and our very spoiled dog, Leo.
